# Jammed STEPS Battery (BULLIT 3 HKLR 8)

#### Remove the battery cover.

1. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the key rod.
2. Use a scribe or pick to push the rocker and spring out of the system.
3. Insert a 3mm hex through the rod hole and position under the latch hook as shown.
4. Push the battery into the bike to remove tension from the latch, then rotate the 3mm hex to retract the latch from the backside as shown
