# Fazua Introduction: System Overview
**WARNING**
This quick start guide is intended to provide a basic overview of the Fazua Ride 60 system on your Santa Cruz Bicycle. This quick start guide is only a supplement; you MUST read the full bicycle owner’s manual that comes with your bicycle AND the full Fazua owner’s manuals (Drive Unit, Battery, Charger, LED Hub, Ring Control) that can be found online at:[https://fazua.com/en/support/help-center/](https://fazua.com/en/support/help-center/). The most up-to-date versions of Santa Cruz Bicycle User Manuals can be found online at:[https://www.santacruzbicycles.com/en-US/product-support](https://www.santacruzbicycles.com/en-US/product-support).
**ABOUT EBIKES**
Even an experienced rider will need to get to know the basics of using an eBike, so take the time you need up front to avoid any mishaps. In general, eBikes will accelerate much more quickly than a standard bicycle. Begin riding with the least amount of pedal assist and experiment with a greater assist level as you learn the fundamentals of how the bicycle handles, stops, starts, turns, and feels. Because eBikes are heavier and faster, you’ll need more time to brake and you’ll require more distance in order to react around any other traffic, pedestrians, or obstacles. Educate yourself on the rules of the road for bicycles, in general, but also the eBike specific rules and regulations that are enforced in the area where you are riding.
