# Bosch Rear Wheel, Speed Sensor, and Tube Guide
### The Bosch Speed Sensor Setup
The Vala features a wireless **Bosch Speed Sensor Magnet** that attaches directly to your rear rim using the **Reserve Fillmore Valve**.
- **The Valve Details:** The bike comes stock with an OE 60mm length valve. It sports a unique lock nut specifically designed to house and secure the Bosch Speed Sensor Magnet.
### Replacing Your Rear Wheel or Rim?
If you ever need to replace the rear wheel or rim on your Vala, pay close attention! It is absolutely crucial that you transfer the **speed sensor magnet, Fillmore Valve, and custom lock nut** onto your new rim. Without these pieces, your e-bike system won't track your speed properly.
### Flat Tire Fixes: Tube Compatibility & Tips
If you get a flat on the trail and need to throw a tube in, here is the quick breakdown to keep your repair hassle-free:
- **Minimum Valve Length:** The absolute minimum Presta valve stem length you can use is **48mm**.
- **The Sweet Spot:** Tubes with a **60mm** Presta valve stem are optimal. Though they can be a bit rare to find, this size ensures your pump head gets the ideal grip (purchase) on the stem while you're inflating it.
- **Watch Your Lock Nuts:** The thread pitch on your original Fillmore lock nut is not compatible with standard tube valve stems. When installing a temporary or permanent inner tube, make sure to use the lock nut that came included with that tube!
